You are fully valued, fully accepted, and fully loved. We believe that all people are created in God’s image and therefore we celebrate the dignity of every human being. Because we believe that every person, in all their diversity is essential to building up the body of Christ, we welcome all, no exceptions.

We are a diverse community following the way of Jesus. Come journey with us as we seek to fulfill our mission in the world- working for the Kingdom of God by transforming our communities with the infinite love of God.

In the Episcopal Diocese of San Diego, celebration takes many shapes and forms, but it can always be seen in the way we live, love, and worship. Celebration is at the heart of what we believe – it is as vital to our communities as the people that comprise them; as essential to our faith as the creeds we profess.

Church isn’t a place to which you go, it’s a family to which you belong. EDSD is made up of 45? unique communities across hundreds of miles, from the Pacific Ocean to the deserts of Yuma, Arizona, and from the San Ysidro border to Riverside County. Although each community is unique in its makeup, we are bound together by a common purpose, and unified around a common faith in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Each week our communities across the region gather to encounter the living Christ and to be renewed by God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Because we are made in God’s image, each individual is full of power, potential, and purpose. When we experience the life-giving, liberating love of Jesus Christ, it can enable us to find and fulfill that purpose. Here at EDSD there are countless opportunities to discover why we are here, and an open invitation to join in with what God is doing in us, around us and through us.
